Introduction

I want to share an extraordinary battle I had not too long ago. It was nice that the social media challenge this week has the share your battle theme. Without further ado let's see the battle.

The Amazing Battle

This battle was on my scholar account. I was fighting Azircon who is a great player in Splinterlands either him or it was someone playing for him since I saw him saying he had a scholar playing before in Splinterlands discord. The ruleset was Close Range and Fog of War with a 60 mana cap with fire being the only element banned.

When I saw the ruleset, I was thinking that there would definitely be big mana units being chosen. I was also thinking that there would be some annoying heal and repair stuff. That's why I decided to play Suidae Shaman with Immortalis. I feel Suidae Shaman is one of the underrated cards of Rebellion. It's an absolute monster at destroying units with 10 or more mana. The rest of my team was pretty much the core Immortalis lineup with Mycelic Infantry in the front to be a solid tank. There was the taunt from Mycelic Slipsawn and the rest was support to heal my frontline or the taunt unit.

I feel I had a good read on my opponent for this battle. They probably didn't expect the Suidae Shaman to just one shot Inevitable doing around 18 damage ignoring armor. By doing this it didn't give them get a chance to have that double heal and double armor repair to sustain. The Iziar buffing his units also backfired against him because my taunt unit has forcefield. I think everything just played out in my favor despite not fully using the high mana cap.
