Falling On My Head

Today is a public holiday here in Malaysia so I have some time to write my post that I didn't get to over the weekend. I ended up playing pickleball over the weekend as usual but something interesting happened. I played singles against someone and completely lost to them around 15-8 twice and they were using one of the cheapest paddles for pickleball. He said something interesting about the paddle being 5% difference. To be fair though, he used to be a national player for Malaysia for tennis. I think what he said was interesting and I was quite curious about using that paddle as well so I ended up going to a sports store and buying the same paddle he beat me with for experimenting. I will get to try it today in my session during the evening.

I actually want to talk about the topic whether or not I prefer to shower or bath. I feel I am more towards a shower person. I enjoy hot showers with the water falling on my head and I used to spend a lot of time in the shower just reflecting and thinking of things while I was younger. Nowadays, I don't like to stay too long and overthink; I also don't want to waste water. As for bath, I never really got into that. I never felt the need to submerge myself in a bathtub and I think it's a bit of waste for the water depending on the size of the bathtub. I'm not sure if it counts as a bath but if I did go to Japan again I would consider to bath in the hot springs as an experience but for the case where I'm at home, I wouldn't go out of my way to bath. That's just me though. What about you? Are you a shower person or a bath person?

I agree with the points you mentioned about taking a shower or bath. But also, in my country, I think bathtubs are usually found only in rich people's homes or in higher-level hotels. I also feel that it's a waste of water. I would also like to experience onsen or hot spring bath like in Japan surrounded with beautiful natural view.

ya even here in Malaysia, bathtubs are more for the wealthy just because of the limited space. Thanks for agreeing with me hehe

First I've heard of pickleball 🙃
I do enjoy a good soak in a bath with some epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) but it's been years since ive lived somewhere that has a bath.

Haha no. It's just becoming too much of a dictatorship in Australia. I like the freedom here in Mexico.
