Eating Out @Tealive and night market fried ice cream
Introduction
It's been a while since I wrote an eating out post. I'm actually behind on this. I have a couple of eating out posts to write but it's all good. Anyways, I recently tried the food at Tealive and I forgot to take a picture of the front of the store with their name so I used the night market one as the thumbnail. This was on Tuesday this week. I went to hangout with my cousin after work and he brought me try both of these places before having to go back to help my dad with his ebook seminar in the evening.
Tealive
Tealive is a well known tea franchise in Malaysia. I went to the branch in Sri Petaling which seems to be just under 4 stars on google review. People usually come here for tea or milktea but I'm guessing something new they started venturing into is their Tealive cafe where they actually provide food.
Food
I had the Korean Spicy beef and two in the back is a cheesy beef and cheesy chicken katsu that my cousin ordered. Honestly, this sandwich was pretty good. They toasted the bread and melted some butter on it so the bread was really nice. They used decent quality beef as well and the flavor from the sauce was not too overpowering. It did have a bit of a kick though. As for the drink, I had a cookies and cream shake. This one was super delicious and super heavy so I was a bit full after eating and drinking this.
Bonus Food
I also tried fried ice cream at the night market at Sri Petaling. The night market at Sri Petaling is only every Tuesday so my cousin brought me to try this fried ice cream because he said he really liked it. I never tried it before and I thought it was good. I still think pizookie is better though but I haven't found any places that make it in Malaysia.
Concluding Thoughts
Food at Tealive was surprisingly not bad. I would definitely go there and have a sandwich with some cookies and cream shake again. I think the price is also quite reasonable. The inside was nice and quite clean and I don't have any complaints! Also, if you never tried fried ice cream before, I would give it a shot.
