Eating Out @ Restoran Sri Nirwana Maju

image.png

It's been a while since I've written an eating out post. On Wednesday of last week, my boss wanted to try this banana leaf / mamak restaurant called Restoran Sri Nirwana Maju. Apparently, he used to go to a doctor nearby and always walked by this place but never tried it.

When we arrived, we were asked to take our order right at the front where you stand to wait to be seated. Honestly, that was kind of a red flag for me. I understand in the cases when the restaurant is full house, they may get orders in advance but this restaurant was nowhere near full house so to ask us to order before we even sat down was a bit off for me. We still ordered and took a seat after.

As for the place visually, it looked standard. There was nothing different or amazing about it. The place seemed neat and clean from a customer's view so that was good enough for me.

Alright here comes the food. I ordered a teh ice. I got the standard veg meal that came with rice. We ordered a mutton masala and chicken masala to be shared among the three of us. I did not like how they used paper cups to serve drinks. I can't remember the last time I drank using a small paper cup at a restaurant. The place was too cheap to hire people to clean or were they too lazy to clean? As for the food, it barely passed for me. It was one of the worst if not the worst banana leaf I've had in my life.

As for the damage, it came out to around RM80.65 which was covered by my boss. He usually just puts it under company expenses. This comes out to around RM27 per person which isn't too bad.

As for my review, I would give this place 2.8 stars out of 5. It wasn't good and I'm not surprised to check the google review to show 3.6 stars out of 5 with a decent amount of reviews. Once again to summarize, having to order before seating was a turn off. Ambience was ok. The food was barely passing and getting a tiny cup to drink was awful and kind of a ripoff in my opinion. We are definitely not coming back.

Need to put this on travelfeed.io to avoid other hiveians going there. God the curry sauce looks so plain. The the mutton varulva charges 24 is outrageous.

Travelfeed.io is a well-known hive based, but also widely tangled with web2 including Google maps SEO. So, technically if you fire a travel / restaurant review in travelfeed, with proper setup of linkage with Google maps/worldmappin, your post can reached to an extremely wide range of content consumer.

This is one of the posts I made before Hive, that exploded in Google. Travellers still find this post online until today despite 5 years passed.

There's only a handful here in Hive

The view count is definitely hitting the Google SEO since the post is also linked to Google maps.

Use hivesigner then. It's just a secure way to log you in. Either way is possible.

Dude. Hivesigner is a login intermediary. Whichever device you wish to login hive, you can use hivesigner to remember your hive ID and Active key there. So you don't have to carry the active key all the time.

Like for example

You login ecency in your laptop, you can use hivesigner.

ID: reidenling90
Active key: P5whatevertherestoftgecodehere

Then keyin a local pin code/password

So, next time you will just need to use the pin code/password to login other apps, such as 3speak, peaks, travelfeed and or whatever app that you have gave active key authority.

@shawnnft, Cool, the interior id quite spacious. I like Malay food, the taste is delicious, savory. Sri means prosperity, wealth and Maju means moving. Thank you friends.

Oh yeah, if the place isn't very pleasant, find a nice and comfortable place. Or try the Hainan chicken rice "Chee Meeng" on jalan bukit bintang. I once ate there when I was in KL. Terimakasih.
