Eating Out @ Yummy Tummy Thai Noodles

It's been a while since I posted. This is my first post for this year. At the beginning of this week, I went to eat with friends at this place called Yummy Tummy Thai Noodles. This was my first time eating here and from first sight the place caught my interest. The place is quite small and narrow. The tables and seats were very simple. It's too bad I forgot to take a picture of the inside but from the first photo you can see a simple chair with no back support. There was no fancy decorations; it just looked like a modern hawker store with AC.

I'm mainly going to be sharing the food that I ate. As an appetizer, we shared the pork skewers. There was three of us so each of us had one. The pork skewers were nice and I would order them again next time.

I asked the waitress for recommendations and she recommended their boat noodle. I ordered a large boat noodle as you can see above. I chose to mix thai instant noodles and rice noodles but in my opinion to thai instant noodles weren't as good as the rice noodles. If I were to come back in the future, I would just get the rice noodles. This order also came with a generous amount of pork as you can see from the photo above. The soup was very rich and flavorful; it's a bit towards the heavier side as opposed to the Vietnamese dish, Pho, where it's a bit lighter.

As for my drink, I had the Thai green milk tea. I've had many thai green milk tea but I feel they are more or less the same. I can barely tell the difference between the ones I had in the past.

The place was rated quite high. Personally, I would give it a 5. The place is affordable. you can get food there for RM15 and less which is pretty good compared to all the other food in that area if you don't include hawkers stores or mamak. The food was good and I would strongly recommend going for a noodle dish since that's what they seem to be known for. I would definitely come back again; I want to come back and try the green curry soup noodles.
