Introduction

Rebellioin is here! Rebellion was released about five days ago. Surprisingly, Chaos Legion cards are still fairly strong and you can play well without the Rebellion cards but some rebellion cards do give a huge advantage and I will cover the cards that you should probably prioritize buying to be competitive.

State Of The Meta

It seems that most people in diamond and champ are still playing with mostly CL cards and that might be because the Rebellion cards are still fairly expensive to max. Occasionally, I do run into a few players with Chaos Legion and Rebellion cards and they do seem to give an edge over CL only.

This could be a difference case in bronze and silver since it's more affordable to get Rebellion cards at the level for these leagues. If anybody knows, feel free to write in the comments your experience.

There are a few cards that I will be sharing below that I feel are god-tier or A-tier cards that can boost any CL only deck to greater heights.

Akane

Akane is an insane summoner. For only 5 mana, it can give 1 unit lookout or 2 units ambush. Honestly, I feel like it should've been flipped 2 units lookout and 1 unit ambush. There has been a super strong strategy using Chaos Dragon and some other blast units and other ambush units with this card to just get some free kills before fight even starts. This card is insane and probably just slightly below how strong Kitty was but this card is still insane. It's sitting at about 30 dollars a bcx now which is like almost 330 dollars to max out.

Captain Fellblade

This card is SOOO broken in water sneak teams. This card has the same speed as Pelacor Bandit but it's magic so it gets to go first. It will get the guaranteed magic damage and a high chance to break the armor if any from the enemy backline unit. You follow up the next attack with the Pelacor Bandit and it's pretty much first blood for this sneak lineup. It's no surprise that this unit is the most expensive epic for this set at the moment.

Satha Toledo

This is another amazing edition to the Earth element. This card is actually super good in odds only. The tank heal alone makes it super strong. What I like about it is the lookout because this is a huge counter to the ambush Akane strategy. Lookout halves any ambush damage which is insane. This card can be paired up with a taunt unit and places in the 5th position and it should be quite strong. Take note this is the second most expensive among the epics so I guess others feel this cad is super strong.

Avina of The Wolf

Avina is probably the best rare summoner from this set. Getting that extra 2 speed buff is great in almost every instance. The self heal can also come in handy in certain rulesets and I could see it being used on a good tank like Pelacor Conjurer. This card would definitely be strong in a rebellion only fray. I'm unsure how this card competes with Ilthain or Lux Vega. It may not be as good as those CL Summoners.

Moxian Rebel

I actually covered Moxian last week but it was totally different last week. Before it only had 1 damage up all the way until max level. I guess after release they gave it 2 damage at level 7 and level 8. So this card changed my mind from it being a meh card. It's now an insanely great card at 4 mana because it can give 1 cost units like Chaos Legion 2 magic damage which is insane. This card went from meh to pretty much god tier. It will be super good in low mana battles especially in little league but I could be wrong.

Moxian Rebel

Moxian I feel is another god tier card. You don't even have to give it weapons training. I feel like it could be just used in that first spot like a Pelacor Conjuerer with some sneak in the back. It could be like a replacement for Baakjira and you can still play opportunity and sneak without worrying too much about magic. It can also be used with Merdalli Guardian if you want the healing and the cards could replace Baakjira but also save 1 mana. This card can be used in lost legendaries if Baakjira is unplayable as well. Then with weapons training this card can add stun. So imagine you add a Kulu Mastermind, it can have melee and stun in the first position with 5 speed which is insane. Not to mention for 2 mana it has insane speed and health.

Nimbledook Scout

Nimbledook Scout is an interesting unit. I kind of wish you can choose what level to play at because I feel there are cases where you might not use the weapons training and just prefer the 7 speed. I could see this card being played with Feroxian Hero which would be crazy because with the inspire this would be a 2 mana unit with 4 melee damage and 6/7 speed depending on if you want to keep this card at lvl 9 or lvl 10 and if you choose to max it, it will even have blast.

Gobalano Soldier

This card is the first rebellion card I covered. I think it turned out as I expected after learning what ambush does. The ambush makes this card insane. It basically helps get an instakill on the backline. It's a super strong addition to the fire melee sneak lineup. This card is crazy strong in my opinion.

Conclusion

The cards I covered are the cards that I feel are the best of the best in this set. These are the cards I would start buying up once their price drops to a more affordable price for me. I feel they are still too expensive but I can't wait to play with these. It's even expensive to rent. Anyways that's all for my OP list of Rebellion.
