The tournament I will be playing at
I'm pretty hyped this week. I got a pickleball tournament this weekend; it's my very first time playing in a pickleball tournament. I'm definitely the under dog with my partner since we are kind of playing up. My partner is 2.6 and I'm 3.2 and we are playing under 3.5 men's doubles. Honestly, I'm not expecting much for our results; I just hope to pass group stage but if we can somehow manage podium that would be awesome. I'll definitely have a post sharing my experience on this over the weekend.
As for my usual Three Tune Tuesday, I will be focusing on 郭家瑋 Trevor, who is one of my new favorite Chinese singers for emo songs. He's not that famous yet but I believe he will get there one day if he keeps singing these banger songs.

Spinning and Spinning is the first song I wanted to share. It's his latest song. I like the setting of an amusement park in the video and the lyrics to describe a past crush. The person is looking back at a past crush and how it left them confused and a loss of closure. To describe this feeling, he uses the cup ride where you spin and spin the cup super fast until you're super dizzy. He was unable to make a move which was described with the freefall ride since it's a scary ride. He wasn't willing to take the risk while another guy did so he lost his chance. Towards the end of the song, he's finally letting go and getting his closure as well as wishing for her happiness.
過了幾天 (A Few Days Later) - 郭家瑋 Trevor
Now this song is his most popular song. I believe a great contribution to that was the duet version with Dior which you can see has 16 million views which is more views than all the videos on his own YouTube channel. This song is perfect. The melody and the lyrics together are just amazing. The song is about someone struggling to let go of their love. The saddest part is the person they love seems to not reciprocate the feelings which can be inferred from the lyrics that says "who am I to you".
愛你愛到忘了自己 (I Love You So Much That I Forget Myself) - 郭家瑋 Trevor
The last song is my favorite song by him. It's also one of the most underrated and low profile songs from him. The song doesn't have a music video and you can see that it doesn't even have 100k views. This is just a super emo song about someone loving someone so much that they aren't even focusing on their own life. They are just lost in the past memories and haven't let go yet.
