Allow Me To Introduce Myself

My name is Shaun, I have been on Hive before, here's the link, https://hive.blog/@shaunf I took a break from here when my Grandpa died almost two years ago and then on that Christmas Eve my laptop died with my hive passwords.

I have wanted to come back on here for a while, but I have gained a tik tock type mind lately, easily side tracked, it's something I want to improve about myself, I need to train my mind and to focus with no distractions and live with delebarate intent.

I have hardly done any social media the past couple of years, for a little bit I was on an app called Waveful, A Lot of my photos were the top trending there. But that app would seriously slow done our internet and would piss off the wife, so I had to delete it, you know what they say, happy wife, happy life.

I have been living without owning a car since August, it has made life a huge challenge because most days I don't work in the same town I live in. But at least two a month I rent a car through an app called Turo, it's like the air bnb of car rentals, just to get the wife out of the house and doing her groceries, cause groceries are crazy expensive in this town. But today there was banking errors so I had to rent a U-Haul, the roads were filled with snow and ice and really dangerous, the U-Haul was bouncing and sliding all over the place, but we survived it all

At any rate, next pay I hope the banking errors stop and we can use the Turo app again, I enjoy renting the Mercedes! One day it would be nice to own one, it is one of my goals.

For those who don't know me on here, I have been married for almost 6 years. My wife and I tied the knot at a drive-thru wedding outside of Niagara Falls, yes that's right a drive-thru, windows down, vows up, engines running on my old rusty Pontiac, romantic right, it was faster service than Tim Hortons or McDonald's.

At the time we thought we were being unconventional, turns out we were accidentally ahead of the curve. A few weeks later, the world shutdown.

We skipped the honeymoon and went straight into the advanced level of marriage: 24/7 togetherness with no exit strategy.
