My Favourite Ant
I kind of like the so called “crazy ants”, which are also know as “raspberry ants”. According to history they invaded the Houston area couple of years back.
They kind of look like fire ants, but they usually don’t sting, just fire ants will sting.. Another thing I like about them is that they displaced a lot of fire ants.
Crazy ants are known for their ability to take over your yard and your home quickly. Their populations are enormous and they even drive out other types of ants and animal populations.
One thing bad about the crazy ants is that they like to build their nests inside electrical equipment, yes you heard me, inside electrical equipment. That happened to me when they built a nest inside my extension box, glad I got to discover it at it early stage.
