RE: Hive Rewards Card: A Real-World Cashback Ecosystem Powered by Invisible Crypto

Gift cards seem to be a big thing in the fiat world (I've only just discovered them), the most cash back or discount, depending how they work, I've seen is 4%, so 6%-8% seems great ... might also be perceived as a scam (why is it so good) and maybe better to start with something a little more conservative in case it is too ambitious to promise 6%-8% - the model may not be viable in practice and, I'd guess, better to improve on an original offer of, say, 5%, than to come back on an offer of 8%?
I'd love to hand out gift cards as little presents, but just wondering where they would be redeemed in the UK ... we have @c0ff33a (excellent coffee and service, but not everyone drinks the coffee I like 🙂) ... I know there are some other places like your cake shop local to you that are perfect for this ... relatively small ticket, frequent sales.
Now, the cash back coming from upvotes on comments - are these going to be contained somewhere because I definitely do not want my feed jammed up with "I bought an abc at xyz and I used an Hive NFC Gift Card to do it. Cash back Yay!". In that case, where do the votes/comments come from?
dTrade(?) just jumped in my mind. I know that didn't work out, but any learnings we can pick up from there?
PS It's a great idea, just picking the way. Thank you to @ankapolo 😍
all contained in a community, under a containig post... yeah, nobody would have their feed full of receipts. that would be terrible.
i dont know dtrade... could you send me a link, a post about it? dont even remember a single thing.
Just thinking about the Hive Hub Guatemala and we had another idea on here pre-pandemic in ReggaeJahm about building the independent tourist trade in Jamaica, @miyard was here recently, maybe there's another little hub of local business opportunity.
