There are three types of Translatory motion
1. Linear motion: If the body moves along straight line it is called linear motion.
Example; A freely falling body.
2. Random motion: If the body moves along an irregular path the motion is called random motion.
A) Irregular Path.

C) Circular motion. The motion of a body along a circle is called circular motion. If a ball tied to one end of a string is whirled it move along a circle. A Ferris wheel is also an example of circular motion.
