Observe the picture below. The father pushing his son on a swing in the picture. When he uses more force to push, the swing moves higher (picture a). Imagine if the father was pushing the younger boy on one swing and his elder brother on another (picture b). If he pushes both children with the same amount of force the swing of younger child will move farther and faster because his swing is lighter in mass than that of his elder brother.

But the swing of elder brother will move at a slow speed. Here we conclude that greater the force applied, greater is the movement and heavy objects need great force to move.
Look at the following examples when you are pushing some dough to make pizza. You are using a force. Pushing moves something in the direction of the push. The harder you push, the farther the item goes. Pull force is applied to hunt fish. The harder you pull, the faster something moves along.
