Witness Townhall -- January 21st at 12pm EST

It’s almost time for the first Witness Townhall of 2026 taking place in the official Hive discord.

It will take place on Wednesday January 21st at 12pm ET in the official Hive Discord

It was be an opportunity to meet the Witnesses:

• find out what they do on the chain
• what projects are important to them
• how they feel about topics of interest on the chain
• for them to share about upcoming developments or possible developments

By hearing them, community members get a sense of who the Witnesses are and can make better informed voting decisions.

The townhall is meant to be a two way discussion between Witnesses and the rest of the community. The text is monitored for people to be able to put questions and concerns to raise.

I’m your host for the event. For those who don’t know me, I’ve been on Hive since August 2016. I host the long running Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT) and am one of the cohosts on the Hive Thrive show held each Tuesday.

On the legacy chain I hosted a monthly Witness Chat, so this is returning to that format only on Hive.

It doesn’t matter if you’re new to Hive or been here forever, your vote counts. So come on out and listen in, ask questions and learn.
