This week I’m talking about heat, humidity and the dangers that comes with them

As I watch the news about the scorching heat and humidity happening around the world this summer, I feel blessed that so far the summer where I am has been rather moderate. But then, it’s July. August tends to get hotter. So, my turn may be coming.

If you’re experiencing the heat and humidity, please stay safe.

Thank you for listening to Nicheless Narrative. All my podcasts can be found on nichelessandlovingit.com. While you’re there, maybe you’d like to subscribe to my weekly newsletter, Nicheless & Loving It.

Until Next Thursday, have a great week

Please realize climate change is normal and is dependent on more than carbon dioxide. The lack of warming since the 1990s should tell you something. Also in the geological column the carbon dioxide rate follows the temperature with the delay of 800 years. Good advice about keeping cool though by the way

The podcast is about the effects of heat on the body. The mention of climate change was incidental.

However, your definition of the current level of climate change is a stretch to call it normal. As for lack of warming, tell that to the people suffering through record heat waves around the world. Some of us are old enough to know, there is nothing normal about current weather patterns. They may become a new normal, if they ever settle into a pattern instead of continuing to shift and break records.

Of course heat wave events are weather not climate change. And as you mention you have age, why don't you take a look at this video by someone who is probably older than both of us:

It is a little dated but the boy has cried wolf too often.

Yes weather is NOT influenced by climate.... how silly to think they might be related.

As for your video reference. I have zero interest in what someone who's expertise is not climate related and has himself said he has little interest in learning the subject:

Speaking of fallacy ... I'll remind you once again that the topic of the podcast wasn't climate change. You did latch onto the mention of it to attempt to hold forth on the topic. Nice try but I'm not buying what you're putting down.
