Our Fun River Picnic with the Kids – Great Food Cool Water and Happy Memories

Hey Hiver friends! Sharing what happened when we went to the river with the kids! We had a picnic there and it was so much fun we ate a lot and had drinks too!

We left early so it would not be too hot. When we got there wow so many tall trees around the grass was green and the river water was clear as clear can be!

You could hear the water flowing and birds tweeting everywhere felt so nice and calm.

We put our stuff down on the grass near the water. The kids were going crazy right away running here and there throwing stones into the river while we got our food out.

We had grilled chicken pasta salad mangoes bananas all good stuff! Everyone piled around to eat laughing and talking nonstop.

After eating the kids were like “Let’s go in the water!” They were splashing each other playing games and trying to grab little fish didn’t get any though haha! Even us grown-ups joined in waded in the shallow parts because the water was so cool and felt great. One of my nephews even stood on a big rock in the river looking all proud!

Later on we just sat by the bank, drinking our drinks and just looking at everything around us. The kids were tired but smiling so big. When we packed up to leave all they could ask was “When are we coming back?!” Really makes you realize that just hanging out with family outside is the best. We went home full happy and with lots of good memories!
