STOP undermining Photographers
Photographers work is so Underrated
Today I want to talk with all of you about something very important.
Because nowadays everyone have a relatively good camera in their pockets with the new mobile phones and with the access to social media platforms and internet almost everywhere.
Everyone can take a photo and upload it online.
There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it is amazing and brilliant.
Something that not everyone can do, is to be a photographer, make a career and make a living with the art they create.
BEEING A CONTENT CREATOR THAT HAS PHOTOGRAPHY AS THEY MAIN MEDIUM IS NOT EASY.
Everything I referred above, actually make it more complicated for content creators and photographers that want to make this their job, more difficult. Since there are so many more images being created. Also, because we live in an era that people have to come up with new and fresh content on daily basis.
So, when you see a content creator coming out with new photos on the daily, always remember.
IT IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS YOU THINK.
It takes way more time, energy, money and creativity than you think.
Many think that Photographers take a photo, upload it, and that is all the work behind it.
But remember, for those photos to happen, we have to come out with the ideas. Have the material ready, travel places, take the photos, make the selection of the best photos, spend hours editing.
What you see might seem simple and that was no effort behind it. But many of us have been doing this for Years, daily. Do you know how difficult it is to come up with new ideas and new images on the daily basis.
Probably you don't. Because you took a cool photo last week, that you have decided to upload and that's all you did.
But we do this EVERY DAY, all day long.
STOP UNDERMINING PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THEIR WORKS.
There is way more behind a photography than you can imagine.
You might not like the photos you see. And that is absolutely fine. But don't you dare tell to a photographer that all they do is to take a photo and spend 1 minute to upload it and that is it. That is disrespectful and a flat lie.
Next time you see a photo online and you see that is from a photographer that does that for a living, think twice before comment something like that.
Instead, take the time to show some love. Because the majority of artists that work with photography are struggling to get any good results and keep food on the table for them and their families.
That's all I wanted to say today and I hope the message was clear.

It's definitely not easy, I just look at my wife's phone pictures and realize some have the eye and some don't haha.
And it is so sad because people look at the photography art down :(

It gets really old. To have yourself and your work to be discredited all over all social media platforms, just because short format video now is more popular. People think photography is way more simple. But I would dare them to do it for only 7 days in a row, they probably would not even pass the 2nd day lolol
