A World Without Electricity — And the Invention That Could Change It
Hello everyone! I'm @sereneview, and I'm back again with a new post for the SciFi Multiverse event.
Today, I’m going to talk about an invention we often take for granted — something we only realize the true value of when it suddenly disappears.

Just imagine: Can we really survive a single day without electricity?
Let’s take a closer look at electricity — not just in our daily lives, but through the lens of science fiction, and even an invention from my own imagination.
The First Thing I Notice Every Morning – Electricity
The very first thing I notice after waking up each morning is — Is there electricity?
Is the fan off?
Is my phone out of charge?
No internet?
All these three questions revolve around one thing — electricity.
Electricity in Every Part of My Life
We often consider mobile phones, the internet, or computers to be the greatest inventions. But think for a moment — would any of these work without electricity?
Without electricity, we wouldn’t have lights at night.
There would be no way to preserve food in refrigerators.
Hospitals couldn’t operate — no operation theatres, no X-rays, no life support.
Even our beloved phones, computers, and the internet would become useless without power.
How Electricity Changed Our Lives
From the lights in our homes to the traffic lights on the streets, from office air conditioners to water pumps — everything runs on electricity.

I live in a village, and I know how difficult it becomes during power outages. When the fan stops, the heat makes it unbearable to stay indoors. Those with WiFi can’t use the internet, and without that, smartphones become useless too. And if load-shedding happens at night, neither can we sleep nor do anything in the dark.
That’s when you truly realize how precious electricity is.
It saves time, makes life easier, and powers our modern world.
Sci-Fi Dream: The Future of Electricity
Imagine a world where electricity flows through the air like waves — and we could charge our devices with just a small receiver!
Or a futuristic city that runs entirely on solar power, where sunlight fuels everything — no other energy source needed.
Maybe someday we’ll create wireless electricity like Nikola Tesla once dreamed — and charging cables will become a thing of the past.

My Imagination: A New Invention
If I could invent something new, I would create a solar-powered school bag — one that could light up on its own, charge a mobile phone, and even work like a tablet.
It would be a game-changer for children in rural areas who don’t always have access to electricity.
Final Thought
Every invention has changed human life in some way.
But electricity stands above them all.
It’s not just a form of energy — it’s the lifeblood of modern civilization.
In my eyes, electricity is the most useful and the most essential invention ever made.
Hope you liked it.

I hate power outages so much. The heat, the inconvenience of using power banks, the struggle to pump water, I hate it all. I'm really grateful for it and so, It's understandable why it's your best innovation. We all can't do without it.
