TecnoComic with Jason, my son, my name is Pamela btw

Hello everyone, weekend friends! How's it going? I'm super happy because my son was able to achieve a goal he's been planning for a while - building a Jason Voorhees cosplay from the Friday the 13th movies.

This Saturday, he got to show off his costume at an event near our home. We went with his little brother, who also took advantage of the photo shoot and greeted and took pictures with everyone.

The event was supposed to be last week, but as Abraracurcix the Gaul would say, "the sky fell on our heads" - the municipality suspended all activities in the area, and we even had flooding in our house, so the date was changed.

The event had some really interesting activities, including a show by the Mortal Kombat team with martial arts demonstrations

dance shows, a band that played video game music masterfully,

a Jedi class for sword fighters

a cosplay contest (we didn't stay too late because it was cold by the river), a fair inside the convention center's covered area, and a medieval fair outside.

There was a gaming area with some computers to play with joysticks, and I forgot how much fun it was to play together until we had a little Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fight with my younger son.

The thing is, my teenager has some social difficulties, suffers from vertigo in open spaces, and has panic attacks, but this time we were able to enjoy a peaceful afternoon like we hadn't in years.

He was in his element, people came up to ask for photos and congratulate him, and he even recorded a reel with the Haimasai girls.

The reel

I couldn't believe he was so calm in a situation that would normally stress him out a lot. Thanks to modern medicine, psychotherapy, and family support, it's possible to improve the quality of life for everyone involved - that afternoon felt like a small miracle.

Thanks for read, it means a lot to have a place to share this stuff, ( maybe I should go to therapy either :v (actually I'll go so.. ))

Meanwhile ...

All pics are mine, took them with the G32 still don’t know how to change that mark and put my name at least it will be look more pro or something..

I have to congratulate you for that Jason Voorhees cosplay, it's very well done. It's even a little scary jaja. I also liked the one dressed as the Eternauta.
I'm glad your son had a peaceful time despite his troubles.
