Collection Highlights -

Back with another great vintage piece from A-Mark. They are a full service specialist metal company that has grown into an official distributor for many government mints throughout the world including the Royal Canadian mint, South African mint, Australian permit, and an authorized purchaser for the US mint. It began making the liberty pure medallion round in 1982. I'd like it because it features the eagle with arrows and talents surrounded by 13 stars. It is very patriotic feel to it, while the other side shows the Liberty Bell with the life liberty and happiness model calling back to what the country was founded on.

  • Thickness 3.00MM
  • Diameter 38.5mm
  • Edge Reeded

Obverse

This is a great looking obverse of a coin. It's got a really good eagle with good feather detail. On the breast of the eagle and has a really nice Shield which calls back to much of our old money where the shield in a crests were prominently displayed. Also has 1984 stamped on there which is just a couple years after the best year ever. I would buy 13 stars for the 13 colonies and Liberty silver. Again calling back to Liberty our coins and money is always a good thing in my mind is as Liberty is what we should be celebrating.

Reverse

The reverse is also one of my favorites. While it has the iconic Liberty Bell on the reverse it does so in a very clean presentation. The vanity above is also a great reminder of life liberty and happiness is all we're guaranteed in this life is the opportunity to pursue those. Certainly like seeing the fact that they put their mint mark and A-Mark so visible for me to identify. I really like the clean fields of this side of the coin it's not busy but yet makes the focal points where they should be. The reading around the edge is also a nice touch that I think makes it a complete picture

I know they ran these for a number of years so I'll have to take a look and see what other years I have. Might require a little bit of digging but we'll see what we can find I know I don't have all of them but I might have another year or two.

The only A-Mark I have are their generic 10 Troy oz. silver bars as my front line first to be liquidated should I need the cash or use for GSR trade.
