Ok... so I have some this finally figured out, but now it seems stuck. Can I close my computer before the transaction goes through?

You can... its already submited if you broadcasted it. Aka, has a Tx hash on the network, so it can only have 2 outcomes, either be accepted by the contract, or fail. Not sure what happens if it fails, but I would imagine the contract would return the amount back to the original wallet.
