I would think it has real potentially as long as the powers that be let it happen... it takes up less space than solar panels. There doesn't seem to be anything bad about it either, in terms of the environment and the materials it uses.
I wish them luck!
And hopefully it is scalable in a downsizing kind of way. I'd love one of these for my off-grid homestead!!!

Yeah I think advertised big use case "DATA center" is wrong. That concept is fitting for smaller applications, you can go more modular and decentralized.
For not sure, a farm or some production facility seems more fitting.
Totally - instead of setting up copper powerline somewhere, "just" equip each house or block or whatever with one those containers.
This kind of application would work wonders for a farm or a homestead! Now you can live wherever you want on the planet as long as there's enough sun!
And rain or something sort of water source 🤔
As for the Data centers... it is the big ticket item. If they get a contract with X ai for example, that's a lot of units sold!
Plus it would help the power gid problem we're facing with all this ai everywhere 🙄
Yeah, just saying more and bigger planning would be more efficient, the modularity takes too much from the overall efficiency.
But just guessing, if market can't deliver you a solution, you have to huddle the options available.
Moar and smaller data center are might be more feasible with the units.
I see what you're saying. Tho making something modular gives both the producer and the consumer more options.
I don't really know.... and you're probably right about it taking too much away from the overall efficiency. It certainly takes a toll!
