Great reflection.

I have noticed how I go for a while. For years I wondered why I had the thoughts I did. After all, they come from somewhere or for reason right? Recently I had discovered how thought and emotion are intertwined.

I noticed how I had fantasies of being great, or having a lot of money and it was all solace from a deep shame I carried since forever. It was planted there, and it just runned in the background, consuming lots of ram, so speak. That's how I lived what science is discovering right now and that is that shame is designed by our brain to be the most powerful emotion. Crazy things are done to avoid shame. Some cultures actually had suicide rituals around it.

Crazy, right?

Yes, indeed!! This is something that I've also discovered over the years, emotions and thoughts are intertwined and one influences the other and vice versa.

Rightly said! Shame can be a powerful emotion that pushes us to the extreme, even dictating what we do or who we define ourselves as. I think it's actually crazy that suicide rituals are conducted for the sake of relieving oneself from shame.

Thanks for stopping by :)
