You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Stone Temple Pilots was such a better band than I gave them credit for. First time listening in maybe 25 years.

I used to just love the singles and a few others, but "Pop's Love Suicide" and "And So I know" are so different from most of what I remembered them for. I didn't appreciate them as much back then.

Feel free to check them out. I listened to them in elementary school, some of the first rock I heard besides classic rock. Their popular song was "Trippin on a soul in a paper heart" and "Plush" but as I said some of the other songs were very good. They were considered grunge music but I think they were more versatile

So much old music to listen to for the first time in decades! I haven't revisited much music from the time of CDs except for my absolute favorites

People used to call them grunge but they were more than that, they hadsome blues and art pop and probably more, I've only re-listened to Tiny Music. It's all coming back

Your right, Pop's Love Suicide hits way harder now, the deeper cuts have more soul than the radio stuff I remembered, feels like finding hidden value after teh cycle turns :)
