I don't have any issue with AI as a technology. I'm not thrilled with how it will inevitably be used and is already being used....

I am excited for the positives and I would be very troubled by the negatives but I don't want to waste my energy on things I can't change.... let's see what happens.

Thats the problem with many innovations. They aim to solve one problem, but also get used in other, sometimes malicious ways.

I think this is not just AI. It's the thing about building tools. Tools are to be used by humans. A knife is used to prepare delicious meals, but at the same time to kill. Depends on the users. So as it is, so it is and so it will be.

Of course. I just want to see more people cutting vegetables than stabbing themselves in the eyes, or strangers haaha. The thing with AI is that it will soon be self replicating and capable of evolving. Knives don't create other knives.

AI can program AI. Knives can't create knives. AI can also escape detection so no one knows what is AI. It's going to be a disaster, but I mean, flowers grow from poop, so I will ride out the storm
