The Golden Rwandan Crocodile 🐊
This African series of mine have really made me search through the internet for something quite exotic.
And nothing's more exotic than a small agriculture based country in East Africa.
Just look at the lush greens and farmland.
The coin for today comes from these lush green lands.
2023 1 oz Rwandan Nile Crocodile Gold Coin
This coin is part of the Rwandan Animal Wildlife series, an annual series in which new coins and animals are introduced.
It started in 2008 originally with silver coins but now it has grown and incorporated other metals.
This year 2023 featured the Nile Crocodile of Africa, a fearsome predator known for its stealthy way of hunting and powerful jaws with a kill rate greater than 80%.
The artwork on this coin is simply beautiful.
In the obverse side, we see the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Rwanda. Also with inscriptions of the name of the Bank of Rwanda, who is the issuing authority of the coin.
It also features the face value of the coin which is One Hundred (100)
On the reverse side, we see a depiction of the African Continent and the powerful Nile crocodile struck in gold with it's mouth open to show it's intimidating teeth.

Pretty damn cool! It wouldn’t be my first or second choice, but damn if that’s not a stunner!

They are making a bit of a silver and gold zoo...
Each coin looks dope and is rare.

I do have the proof silver versions from 2008 to 2016. Once I will sell them one by one including the rare gorilla.
