The Black and White Silver Wolves 🐺

(Edited)

It's been a while since I wrote a coin review.
I've had the curiousity about stacking for a while and I've already asked around and been picking up some tips and terms about the lifestyle.
The only thing stopping me at the moment is finances but I have a feeling that is about to change✨

Until then, I'll keep on occasionally searching and posting about rare coins I would love to have in my collection someday.
This is somewhat like a journal and also a wishlist if at all there's a generous whale who would want to help this young hopeful minnowπŸ₯Ί.

This coin is one whose name I thought of after reading a coin post by @silversaver888

She posted about a shiny old school silver buffalo and we talked about how iconic buffalo and eagles are in the coin animal zoo.

At such I got curious, which animals aren't really iconic yet would look super cool.
I went on to asking Meta AI and it came up with this.

Of course with just a quick glance, I already knew the animal that would be the protagonist on this post.
With just a quick search, I had already found it.

2021 One Oz 2$ Niue Silver 2 Wolves Coin

Or as I like to call it.

β€œThe wolf you feed is the wolf who wins” – this story serves as an important reminder of the power everyone has over their experiences and emotions. Two wolves – white and black – are competing on the coin. They represent our good and bad self – good and evil, which carry the eternal battle each and every day. This silver coin is full of morality. Looking at it, the question arises: β€œWhich is the wolf you are feeding?” -Copied from the coin details in the European Mint Page

The Design!!
The Lore!!!
The Mint of Niue really outdid themselves in this one, of course it would be hard to make a wolf look suss, it's also incredibly hard to make them look this dope.

I've come across a number of Niue coins since I started writing in this community. Since my Silver wishlist days when I came across The Merry Christmas Coin and till the Four Leaf Clover πŸ€ Coin all types of Niue coins have been beautiful and sweet on the eyes yet this one is a real jaw dropper.

Specifications...

Year: 2021
Grade: Antique Finish, High relief, special finish
Mintage: 999 pcs
Country: Niue
Denomination: $2
Metal Content: 1 troy oz

With 999 pieces left, this coin is still a fairly rare one, not extremely rare like i thought it would be.. but meh..
On the European Mint site, the coin was priced at 162.61 pounds which is approximately 206.57 dollars...
Still a bit costly though πŸ˜….

Not often the kind of high end silver coin to start off Stacking unless you're crazy as I am and reasonably financed.

A collector's coin! It is beautiful. Is it high relief?
I have Niue coins, a collection of Icons of Inspirations:

and the latest is this one

At least the coins have meaning, since no other coin has broached the subject matter of the coins before.
I think that if you like the coin that much, then buy it!!! It's an awesome coin!

Einstein...

That's a nice coun.

Oh I would love to buy this coin.

But 200$ isn't some cash I would use to get my first coinπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

I'll probably start from the hive bullion this yearπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It sounds like a good idea to research coins and buy them up when you have the buck.

That coin is a bit pricey :)
