Social Trending Party Tunes.
Social Media is the future of the entertainment industry. Almost everything and everyone is on the Internet and at such it's a place in which when one makes their mark, they are hardly ever forgotten.
In the music industry though, the Social media is just a stepping stone for as long as a song trends, a new one is almost always ready to take its place.
It's even more true in my part of the hemisphere where the musical struggle is most dense. Social Media that promotes artist's songs like Instagram and TikTok are always updating and a new hit is found everyday to be used by content creators to use create their own trend.
Now, I'm not on TikTok nor nearly as active as I used to be on Instagram, but occasionally I do get to hear the latest trending musics and if they do introgue me so much, I add them to my playlist.
Quite recently I was just listening to a song that was trending a few months back and I got the idea to share it and two others for #ttt...
Water ~ Tyla.
It's quite crazy that I'm just listening to this song now, I've practically listened to it 2nd handedly from different videos, ads and various people's private renditions😂
This song took Social media by storm, the choreography became a dance challenge and the sheer numbers of fans it amassed brought Tyla loads of awards.
The lyrics in itself aren't special, but it's catchy with the right amount of provocative talk and actions to create a hit in the social waters✨
Tshwala Bam Remix ~ Titom ft SNE and Burna Boy
Some songs need a whole lot of conditions to trend, while some just needs the bare minimum and the voice of the right artist. For this song, Burna Boy was the right artist.
Amapiano beat is a type of song that's quite easy to gain traction and following due to its use in clubs, and one which Burna Boy himself sang on...
It's quite a no brainer that it'll trend.
Benin Boys ~ Rema ft Shallipopi
Rema and Shallipopi are no strangers to the trending chart as each have brought out their individual singles and albums who have hugged the limelight.
This song is currently topping the charts now and with the hyperactiveness of their individual fans just eating it up, it might stay there for quite a while.
At first, I didn't want to listen to this song because of how much it had blown but after seeing it used in one or two edits, I was tempted to see what my kinsmen had done.
The musical talent is no joke. Pure Benin Boys!
