I wanted to post this yesterday but I was just too tired after the events of the day that I ended up in the land of the Z's before 8pm.
Now for those who are my followers, friends and family, it's no secret that I love anime.
Been a fan and I love it so much that I've been to the conventions, started selling the merchandise and just might host my own anime hangout this year.

This rant is centered on the anime Merchandise selling aspect though.
One of my products involves the procurement of anime themed customized phone pouches.
It's done on a monthly basis, we get the orders, compile them and put a mass order on the last Friday of the month so we can get it back in our country in the next 3 weeks.
It's an easy transparent process, usually goes on without a hitch and if there are any hitches, 90% of the time it's from the customers putting in the wrong details about their phone in the form.
It is an easy process like I said before. Choose the case you want, pay for it, I'll give you the form, you fill in your details, and you wait.

So last 2 months, we had our normal Phonecase batch order. Normal procedure, normal breakdown, in my head, another customized phonecase batch successfully ordered.

Boy was I wrong..

After the order, 2 weeks later I get a notification of the Phonecases being in my warehouse and it's ready for shipping. I look through and see that 2 cases are missing.
This is the first hiccup.
I put a call to the manufacturers and they admit their fault, it took one extra week for the cases to be made.
With a sigh I communicated to the customers because these things happen.
Everybody understood... except for one particular girl.
She laid her discontent, saying her current Phonecase is in tatters and she needs the new case ASAP.

You need a phone case ASAP when you know that mine is Preorder, customized and takes 3-4 weeks to get back to you?

Was what was ringing in my head.
But these are customers. They are always selfish right, so I consoled her, agreed with her, and urged her to be patient and her case to stand strong.
The next 2 weeks (1 week for completion and another week for shipping) after a lot of complaints, nagging and tiresome comments from the lass, the cases were in Nigeria.

This lass is in Port Harcourt and the cases were in Lagos (another state), now let her pay for transport to get her case.
Another issue.

"So I would pay for the case and still pay another huge sum for transport?"

Well yes ma. I'm not the one that would use your case.
It's pretty common sense to know you'd pay for transport, because the case does need to get to you and courier services wouldn't do it freely out of the goodness of their heart in a country where the fuel prices are crazy and volatile.

I myself as a vendor paid a huge amount for delivery to Lagos and I bought a headset earlier that I paid more in delivery to me only for it to not come in my desired color! (a rant for later maybe).

She argues and I mean argued that she wouldn't pay and we should take the case.
This is a trick I've seen a lot of times.
Us taking the case would mean that we didn't give her, thus she can go online and write, tweet, post about her unsavory experience and that one post from a mad woman could ruin me.
I accepted the loss, one because I didn't actually write down that they'll pay delivery fee cause I thought it was common knowledge.

No wam, 2-0, I thought in my head.

I paid and it was shipped to the state, Port Harcourt, I was meant to receive it and I sent her a picture of it.

6 am the next morning (yesterday) after I sent her the picture 2 days ago (Monday) this lass came online and started about how this is not her phone pouch.
At this point I've begun wondering which drugs she takes.
Her point of argument was on how the camera holes aren't the same with her camera.
I took a look at the pouch, took a look at the form, asked her explicitly for the name of her phone "Samsung A35 5G" and I told her that this is the pouch.
She refused, saying that's not the pouch of her phone. We were on this till 2pm.
My initial thought was that she wasn't convinced it would fit, which is a rather valid and very regular concern.
My first time when I did my customized pouch (cause I have to advertise the brand myself) I thought the same thing.
untitled.gif
After another hour of her disagreements becoming more forceful and my assuring her concerns became less courteous (because I'm just a man)
It led to make calling and insults.
I was tired. Stressed and quite frankly bewildered at how someone can be so unreasonable.
Later on, she sent a video of her phone back.

Guys...

This "wide aneema" is using a Samsung A36 when she wrote Samsung A35 in her form.
I burst out laughing in my office.
Again I asked her, please what's the name of your phone.
She replied rude and pompously, Samsung A35.
I told her to go to her phone settings and check the name of her phone.
She read the message, I'm assuming went to do it.
8 minutes later, she hasn't replied.
Me, as I can be a nice prick sometimes, went online and sent a picture of the Samsung A36 phone—which was the exact replica of the back she sent to me—with the caption "Is this your phone?"

This lass that has been rude, entitled, tiresome, arrogant and a total bitch simply replied;

"Don't Worry About It."

Don't worry keh? Me I'm a worrier ooooh
If I don't worry, worriness would kill me!
After 4 weeks of conversation, I knew her name
And I asked her again !!

[Full name here] is this your phone!!

She replied, and I'm sure embarrassment has worn her the full winter garb...

"Please can you just drop it?"
"Don't worry about it."

I believe this is what you call a Remontada moment guys😂

Ironically, after that the bus park called me that the case was in the city so I should go pick it up, I had to even pay extra 500 there.
My extra cost is 4,500 which is a loss on my book but she has probably lost a fair bit of her dignity.
I'd still have to ask her if she wants to collect her case, bill her for the 4,000 (cause I'm an angel like that) and urge her to check her phone settings for the exact phone name.

I'm not lying to say I can't wait to have this conversation 😂✨🔥

To keep confidentiality, I haven't brought any screenshots and have used Gifs and memes to rant about this.😂
