A Whisper
The mouth was the most animated of the body parts. With different jobs and being used at different parts of the day. The mouth was certainly one of the most busy and used job parts.
Yet there was one Job the mouth liked most of all.
Talking...
"Hey Mr Ben!! Nice weather we have here!
"Miss Green? How's the potato patch faring?"
"Christopher, you old dog. Why did you eat up my boots!!?"
And so he went, day after day, week after week, month after months and year after year.
The mouth shouted out greetings, well wishes and all the thoughts from the head.
The mouth carried on this task with pride for years, always making sure his greetings were loud and comprehensible, making sure all words were heard and every time picked.
But the mouth didn't like his job any more.
With time it grew harder for him to shout greetings at Mr Ben, or ask Miss Patch for anything, there wasn't even any Christopher to scold.
Just time and time again, the mouth spent its days shouting and greeting and talking, then spent the nights crying and hurting and healing.
The other body parts felt its pain, they were feeling pains too, yet it was more painful to watch the mouth, who once loved its work, suffer bitterly while doing it.
The old brain then had an idea. He went on to tell the mouth.
"What if you didn't talk very loudly?"
"What do you mean?" Said the mouth, still loud yet not as loud as before because of its pains.
"I call it a whisper. Talking softly and quietly would help reduce the pain."
The next day, the mouth tried it, talking quietly and realized the difference. It no longer hurts to talk, slowly, easily and quietly. The mouth came to love and take much pride in it.
Later on, it was decided that the mouth would get an award. An award for all its services in the body. An award for doing his job and enjoying it.
With nobody saying it, it was going to be a big day.
The heart had realized how hard his own job had gotten. For a while he has been thinking of what to do and not until the night before the award ceremony did he remember the idea and tip the Brain gave to the mouth.
"Not too loud." He told himself.
If he could perhaps beat lighter and less frequently he could rest up for the big day tomorrow.
"I just need a whisper of a heartbea.."

What a surreal and hilarious story. This is a very tricky tale to tell from the specific perspective of a body part. Crazy! :)
Indeed 😂😂😭
Had to edit and re edit...
Just a simple prompt though but I'm challenging myself in different styles😂😂
All these body parts are in one person's body, like different entities in a single entity.
Thus the best voice for the story is a narrators voice, someone who is outside of the story entirely 🙃
Keep it up! ✍️
A very important part of the body and a very creative and great story, the mouth is the pillar of the mind and communication.
