2025 Recap, 2026 Begins

In case you didn't know, going with the #wrapped trend on social media, hive has gone ahead to create its own version and I'd have to say it, #hivewrapped has one of the most beautiful UI/UX design out of them all.

Really though, kudos to the devs and the guy in charge of graphics ✨😤

Looking back at this year in hive it's probably one of my slowest since I joined the blockchain.
My writing took a major lull from September and by December I think I published just 10 times or so...
And if I were to think of any reasons behind it, it would be mostly offline businesses, plus a bit of disappointment at the declining price of hive and the other coins tied to it (I think we all are), and then my own personal writers block and laziness.

Regardless, a look through my recap showed me just how far I went despite my lull
I was active on hive for 208 days out of the full 365, 57% of activity ain't too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Last year I always did try for a monthly streak, and I was so close too with a 29 days streak.
Now those who read my posts know that every of my posts , even the easy to be a copy-and-paste Three Tunes Tuesday posts, are uniquely written.
Each borne of a different idea, feeling and instance.
So for 29 of those instances of ideas back to back to be written down is a nice feat.
Regardless... I'm getting the full 30-31 days and more this year!

It's the new year now on my side of the world and what Nigerians normally do is send thank you wishes to those who helped them in 2025.

In my hive year 2025, I had a lot of people I interacted with and a lot I'm ever grateful for.

First is @spectrumecons who's always running the enticing giveaways and for his random upvotes😂❤️✨
I sincerely appreciate man and I definitely would go back to restart your book this year (cause I've forgotten where I stopped in it😭)
Despite me getting lost between the posts, as a young writer I'm still in awe at the world that you built and how they relate with the laws of economics.
Economics has never been my strong suit (you've probably guessed from my scores on some of your quizzes) but your passion for it does show and that at least makes the subject interesting enough for me to keep on reading 😂✨

I'm not one to be so invested in someone's daily blogs on hive but you have a way with words that makes your writings about your travels and adventures sound not like over sharing but more like inviting the readers to the party 😂✨
It has been a fairly rough year for you too I know, but gear up lass, more adventures to come, lots of cool places to see and good foods to eat, and I'd love to see the pictures you take and read about how the food tastes when you embark on yoir journeys✨

Your initiative has been an easy way for me to think of what to write about and I'm so grateful for it, glad to see it grow too, a lot of songs for you to hum to bed. Sorry for my late distribution of my rewards, would try and get back to those I've missed and would definitely not miss anymore 😂

You've probably heard it from loads of people but your writing is simply beautiful, your senses in collage making are magnificent and your reasoning is just so refreshing (more so that other older folks I've met).
