1 Gram of Silver
For quite a while I've been thinking about how to start my silver hunting/stacking dreams with such a small wallet.
It is just a minor hobby, and just by stacking bits and pieces you'll never know when you get to a big milestone.
Still, the price of some of the coins in my currency was outrageous.
Of course, there's the hive bullion which would help even the price field but still, delivery would make it quite crazy, especially for the in-country payments I'd have to make.
For just 1-10 coins/billions of silver?
Regardless, 2 or 3 days ago I read a post on here talking about 1 gram silver coins.
Now it's not the first I'm hearing or seeing of em.
In fact, @silversaver888 has posted about it four or more times earlier but it's just recently that it hit me.
> Why not just stack 1 gram coins?
Immediately I went to Google and checked for 1 gram of silver.
Perfectly within my reach.
In fact, it is so affordable that I could comfortably stack it twice a month.
Now I know this being the price of 1 gram of silver (the metal) doesn't necessarily mean it's the price of the coin, bar or whatever piece I go and buy.
But I am hopeful. At the very least, where I have a hint of getting some silver and gold is a market so the prices could be haggled.
I just do hope that what I buy is real and not fake 😂
In that same news, let me share a 1 gram silver coin that came upon my screen during my 1 gram search rabbit hole.
This is the Monarch Salmon Fish Round a part of the Monarch Precious Metals series and for some reason it's simplicity just caught my eyes😂.
Reading on the background and it seems this coin was completely handmade meaning the sheets are hand rolled, blanks are individually cut by hand, and the design is hand stamped on both front and back.
I feel that is quite impressive though, the idea that the full production process is done by hand especially since it is quite a small mint with a thickness of 0.04 inches and a diameter of 0.50 inches.
As you can see, the back is marked "One Gram, .999 Fine Silver" and features a Pacific Northwest salmon in honor of Monarch's Precious Metals home, the state of Oregon.
Regardless, that's all from me tonight.
Maybe my next silver gold post would be of me getting my first piece of precious metals.

How apt this is, considering I posted my salmon run sculpture!
Good luck with buying that silver!
Indeed😂😂
I posted this last night and came across your post in the morning and I was like...
"Well look at that..."
lol great minds and all that!
I see that the current price of MPM 1g rounds are $3.05 USD each Oct 4th, 2025. Best to find a volume deal if possible, liquidity relies on our ability to make change. 👍
Looks like you're having fun exploring silver stacking! I have not gotten involved yet. I keep sitting on the sidelines and thinking "I can't do one more thing."
Ah, the state of Oregon. That is where I grew up.
Oh really?
You grew up there?
That's so nice..m
