The Smiles on one of my Happiest days! - A glimpse of genuine happiness Seven Years Ago (Challenge #181)

Not all happiness is visible on the face, but real happiness always shines through and standout. When you’re happy, your face shows it and maybe sometimes it tells the story.

Hello to all fellow Hivers here in Asia particularly here in a beautiful and supportive @aseanhive community! It's been a while since I posted here and participated in your challenge, but right now given the chance I'm back to share my entry on this "friendly faces" challenge.

Who wouldn’t be happy when the people around you or your guests on one of the happiest day of your life are genuinely happy and smiling from ear to ear? I’m sharing these photos captured during our wedding way back in 2018. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been known as someone with a smiling face. People used to call me "bungis-ngis" because no matter what situation I was in, even when someone Infront of me was already mad, I somehow still managed to make them laugh, we all ending up laughing.

As I grew older, that part of me never changed. I remained cheerful and smiling despite all the hardships I went through, especially during my school years. With this kind of attitude I have, I have made many friends inside and out of school. We weren’t rich, so being cheerful or funny felt like the only treasure and asset I had while studying. And honestly, I never liked how I looks like when I frowned, I look like an old lady, haha So in order for me to at least look a little better and beautiful, I preferred to smile even if it meant showing all my teeth and even my gums lol!

This time, I’m sharing these photos because they captured pure joy and shared our happiness during our wedding. Not everyone was photographed, of course because we only had three photographers! Nyahaha, but these shots show the kind of happiness you can truly see on someone’s face. I’m sharing this here because I wanted to remember one of the happiest days of my life. Of course, first and foremost My husband and I, were the happiest ones there, hehe and thanks to this challenge, I was able to look back and relive that special day. A day that's full of happiness, sadness and laughter.

Seven years have passed, and I see in those photos the version of myself that sometimes I feel I’ve lost. The attitude of being carefree, always-smiling or the "bungis-ngis" version of me was gone. Now that I have my own family, I can feel that it changes so much. I have different ways of how I feel happy and my real happiness are my children. Even if things get heavy, if I can see my children smiling or laughing, it makes all the exhaustion, sadness, and stress disappear at once. Truly, once you have your own family, everything changes, but in the most beautiful way. Still the happiness can seem not only on your face but also to your children's little hearts and beautiful faces.

That's all for today. I hope you are all happy inside and out whatever situation you are right now. Thank you so much for reading my simple blog and I really appreciate your time and support. Always keep smiling and please stay safe!

Mabuhay!

Thank you so much @gretelarmfeg for your kind words 😊 I really appreciate it. You're right happiness comes in so many forms that's why I always remind me and my children that always keep smiling to other people no matter what life's bring because we don't know what if our simple smile is a light to anyone who really needs it. Again thank you so much 😊

Totally agree, they said energy doesn't lie, and no amount of aesthetic, skincare and expensive clothes can hide it, genuine smile warms the heart, it feels like a warm hug telling us that no matter what we are going through, we will be okay and that tomorrow will be another day 💕💕💕

That's absolutely right 👍👍 you really figured out how I feel whenever I am smiling. 😊 Everytime I smile I feel very lively and just like everything around me is full of colors. That's why I always tell my kids that they make it a habit to smile and laugh whatever situation they are. Thanks for your kind words @haveyoumetellie I really appreciate your time and support, thank you for stopping by.
