How BAMBI Became Part of the Family - Our Adorable Fluffy Pandemic Pup!

LGreetings to all fur owners here on hive, especially to our friends in the @hivepets community!

Meet our fur fluffy baby, Bambi. Yes, she’s actually my aunt’s pandemic fur baby. My aunt bought her during the pandemic to keep my young cousins company while at home doing their module. As we all know, during that time, the kids were stuck at home doing modules and online learning. So, my aunt decided to get a fur baby so the children would have something else to focus on besides staring at their modules, cellphones, or the TV all day. Besides they love dogs so it's good for them to have one.

Bambi brought so much joy and comfort to them specially he kids, they treated her like their own baby! Sometimes, she even slept beside them. But when life went back to normal, things started to change and Bambi's life started to change too. The kids went back to school, my aunt returned to work as a nurse, and my uncle spent most of his time at the farm. So no one left to see Bambi at home and she is alone most of the day.

Sometimes, we’d see her wandering around feeling at lost, and she would often come to our place. We used to take her in for a while specially daytime, but after I gave birth, we couldn’t keep her anymore since my child is a bit allergic to dog fur. We have another aunt who is nearby to look for her but she’s busy with work too so in the end, we’re the ones who usually care for Bambi whenever we can.

Now, during the daytime, they have to tie her up to keep her safe, but she is not tied all day. The kids untied her in the afternoon when they got home from school to roam around. They also make sure her daily needs are still well taken care of. She’s healthy, clean, and smells nice even if she spends time outside. Whenever we have free time, we visit and play with her so she won’t feel lonely. That way, she still feels loved and happy despite being left alone sometimes.

Tying our pets doesn’t mean we’re mistreating them, it’s actually a way of caring for them. Especially when no one is around to watch over them, and they tend to wander around, we just want to keep them safe from people who might have bad intentions or could harm them.

Thank you so much for reading my blog, I really appreciate your time and effort.

Always keep smiling and Mabuhay!
