Wedding is one of the happiest moments in every woman’s life. Do you agree?

Greetings to everyone here on hive, most especially here @hiveph community, I hope you're doing well these days.

Another day, another blessing! and of course another story to share with you all.

This Morning my sister called me via messenger, and we happily chatted. At first, it seemed like she didn’t have anything important to say, she was just checking in, and we talked about random things regarding our family. Then, suddenly our conversation shifted to unexpected news that really surprised me. It was both happy and sad news but I chose to hide my sadness and just laughed so that she wouldn't notice.

The news was that our youngest sibling is getting married at the end of October. I know that my reaction is OA but I can't help it. Hehe. But still as her big sister I’m happy for her because she already finished her studies, has a job, and at the right age to got married but I also feel a bit sad because it was so sudden and unexpected. I actually thought the sister who told me the news would be the one to get married first, but it turned out the youngest would.

We, the three siblings who were able to finish school, had an agreement before that we would give back to our parents who worked tirelessly for our education before they got married. But maybe God really has His own plans. As they say, “Man will do the planning, but God will decide.” So I set aside my sadness and chose to be happy for her.

Just yesterday, her prenup shoot took place in Malico, Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya. They are accompanied by my other sister. It’s only now starting to sink in to me that our youngest will soon have her own family. Even though it all feels abrupt and rush, we need to support her so she can feel our love for her specially on her wedding day.

So, my other siblings and I have been coordinating and talking about what we can contribute to her upcoming wedding. Even though we’re far from each other, we stay connected through video calls. In that way, we can still help with the wedding preparations even if we can’t be physically present at our parents’ home. With this she can see that she is not alone but we are here for her.

That’s just a little glimpse of our youngest sibling’s upcoming wedding at the end of October. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my not so informative blog. I really appreciate it, have a good day!

Always keep smiling! Mabuhay!
