A Mama’s Simple Day - A Simple Day Filled with Laughter and Happiness. A Weighing Day Adventures with the Kids!
Greetings to all amazing mom's and dads here on hive, most especially here @motherhood community. It's been a while since I posted here and this time I want to share another glimpse of my motherhood journey.
Today was just an ordinary day, yet for me it was a blessed and wonderful day filled with laughter and cheerful noise. The sun was shining so beautifully thank God for such good weather! We took advantage of it to hang our laundry outside.
The kids were so full of energy! My two-year-old climbed the steep path all by herself, while my 1 year 8 months old niece insisted on walking too even though she is struggling. It was such a joy watching them, even as I carried my 8 month old baby on my back along the way.
After that long walk, we finally arrived at the station, and it was time for the kids to get weighed. It was so funny because they started crying when they were placed in the sling bag used for the scale, probably wondering what was happening! Hahaha Meanwhile, the older ones were laughing and enjoying the experience, swinging happily.
It reminded me of my own childhood, I used to be scared of the same thing, especially injections! Hahahaha This is a proof that they are true children of farmers and Igorots, they are strong and healthy. My 8-month-old weighs 9.5 kg, my 2-year-old daughter is 13.8 kg, my 20-month-old niece is 9.8 kg, and her older sister is 19.8 kg. They’re all quite heavy, probably because they’re not picky eaters and they’ll eat anything that’s served!
I’m truly grateful to God. Even though we may not have much financially, I’m happy knowing that my children are healthy, and so is our whole family.
That's all for today. It's just a simple story from a simple day but filled with laughter, noise, and love. A reminder that no matter what we’re going through, we should always choose to stay strong and joyful for our children and our family.

I don't think why kids , scared when you get their weight? I also know it because of my Mom , she is a Health Worker they also do this.
I don't know the reason why they cry as well. Hehe maybe it's children nature 😉😅
Wow I really amazed by your road! Carrying you child walking with the little kids on that steep path is not easy, I can feel the happiness from your story Your children are lucky to have a mom who cares so much for them. No wonder your youngest is like your mini-me sis. She follows you energy and courage everywhere. ❤️
