Beer Tasting 🍺 Urtyp Hell 🍺 Flötzinger Hell

Hello, beer lovers! 🍻

How are you? Are you worried about the crypto market and the modest value of Hive? Ah, forget about it, do something else for a while, because everything will go up again, as usual. But if you can't help yourself, then try a beer, it will calm your nerves :)
#beersaturday is the right time for that.

Today, my family and I were at a party with friends and drank wine, haha. Well, one glass. I held back because I knew what was waiting for me at home.

Two cans were cooling, both German, similar, classic Bavarian bottom-fermented lagers called Helles.

🍻 😎 🍻

First, the one with less alcohol.

Urtyp Hell Edel Bayer

Brewed by Privatbrauerei H. Egerer, Großköllnbach, Bayern, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.6 % ABV, IBU N/A. Lager-Helles style.

What do the Master Brewers say?

This beer comes from Bavaria! The specialty from the house of Egerer is balanced and tasty, with a good, and surprisingly high amount of aromatic and bitter hops that give the beer a bittersweet character. The color is golden yellow, with a fine white foam crown. To quote the Brewmaster: "It's like sunshine!"

The beer is clear and yellow, with little foam that quickly dissipates. It has a bread-like aroma. It goes down smoothly, leaving a mild sweetness in the mouth, followed by hints of hop bitterness and bread.
The aftertaste quickly disappears.

Drinkable and fresh beer. A standard lager without any additives or extras, which is fine for everyday drinking, but nothing is exciting about it that would make it stand out from the hundreds of other Bavarian lagers. If you come across it, drink it, and that's it.
It's not available in local stores.

🍻 😎 🍻

This afternoon was fun; we went to a party at our friends' place and prepared a hearty dinner.

It was more of a social gathering than anything else, but I could mention St. Martin's Day, which is next week, when must turns into wine, as an excuse.
I drank a glass of must, which was very sweet. I didn't want any more, as #beersaturday was still waiting for me, but after such a hearty meal, I would rather fall asleep than write about beer... and I think I'll skip breakfast and lunch tomorrow... 😵‍💫

🍻 😎 🍻

Flötzinger Hell

Brewed by Flötzinger Bräu, Rosenheim, Bayern, Germany.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.1% ABV, IBU 18. Lager-Helles style beer.

What do the Master Brewers say?

The cult beer for generations. The taste is full-bodied with a mild hop note and distinctive malt aroma. High-quality Bavarian malt, Hallertau hops, the best aroma hops from Tettnang, and careful fermentation give Flötzinger Hell its unique taste.
A beer with a mild personality.

🍺

The beer is yellow, with a solid head that quickly dissipates. It has no particular aroma. It goes down smoothly, with a slight sweetness and mild bitterness, and notes of bread.
The aftertaste disappears quickly.

The beer is drinkable and refreshing. A classic beer for everyday drinking, with more pronounced bread and malt flavors than the previous one, but again, nothing exceptional that you would remember or want to keep in your fridge. It is not available locally.

I got both of today's beers from Kalea Beer Box. The box will soon be empty, and I will have to go hunting for beers again.

🍻 😎 🍻

And what am I listening to when writing this and tasting beer?
Something from Friday's New Tunes selection. They strongly remind me of the good old Velvet Underground.

How wonderful that you enjoyed the party this way! Congratulations!
I'd never heard of these beer brands you shared. I imagine they taste good. They certainly look appealing.

Everything is prepared in a pot called 'Sač', which is usually placed on the fire and covered with a lid, with embers added on the lid.
