Autumn Colors
We are now well into autumn, at least here in our region, and according to the posts, elsewhere too.
So I will also add something on this topic.
A feeling and awareness of transience, abundantly illustrated with photos and a little less with words. More of a photo blog than a photo essay :)

I see autumn primarily in the landscape's colors, which have changed from the rainbow hues of summer to brown, yellow, and gold; in the morning chill and humidity; and above all in the plants and leaves that signal the end of a cycle.

I also notice these changes on my walks. There are fallen leaves everywhere, but in the town, they still manage to clean the sidewalks, while in the park, they don't even bother.
I like that.
Anyone who has had the opportunity to walk on fallen leaves will know what I mean :)

For all color enthusiasts (including myself), the most interesting leaves are those of deciduous trees, which are in various stages of yellowing and decay. There is a wealth of detail, a variety of colors, and structural nuances.

Flowers and fruits are also on the path of drying, dying, and decaying.

When moisture appears, mushrooms also arrive. I thought I would catch more of them, but I didn't. Only those that formed around the cut trunk. That is, apparently sulphur tuft or clustered woodlover (according to Google Lens, which I have been using a lot lately to compare images and search for plant names). Hypholoma fasciculare, according to Wikipedia, is toxic.

In short, we are deep into autumn, waiting for winter, and perhaps even snow.

Thank you for your attention!
The photos were taken with a Pixel 7 phone and edited in Photoshop using the HDR toning feature.
I apologize if the colors appear exaggerated; I'm still learning how to use the feature.

These are gorgeous! I love the one of the sun over the field and the dead sunflower close-up. Very melancholic. :)
Yes, they remind me of autumn. :)

Thanks, it looks like an inspiration, like a bird with outstretched wings :)
Fall really is beautiful in it's own way with the beautiful leaves and it's so much fun to walk on them and hear the satisfying crunching sound! You really took some awesome pictures, that was a lot of effort! I really love the ring of mushrooms around the stump, what a cool picture. Awesome post!
