MRK, known as Eclypse in English, is an international band led by drummer Gaj Bostič, currently based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In January, they released their first full-length album, titled MRK.

A blend of various musical genres, from beat to jazz, creates a unique soundscape for each track. They think beyond the boundaries of the earthly, beyond jazz, drawing inspiration from the cosmos and projecting a broad musical spectrum. A modern fusion of contrasts that is particularly magical when it achieves totality.

Since 2001, Radio Student's Club Marathon has been searching for, highlighting, and supporting the most promising new Slovenian musical forces - the first serious springboard for the alternative scene.

It's a really cool musical genre, kind of like jazz, or maybe not, 🤔 but it sounds pretty good. I've never heard of it before.

You couldn't hear them because they're new. This recording was made during their first tour, and they didn't release their first album until January of this year.
