Using Bella Ratajowlski Summoner

Introduction

If you played in high Diamond Modern League you probably came across this summoner. Bella Ratajowlski is a very effective summoner against the very popular Nidhoggr and Eternal Tofu summoners because it blocks the splash damage and thorns damage.

But regardless of the summoner being played against you Bella is a very effective choice. In this post I am going to share one of my strategies that I use when playing Bella Ratajowlski. And in this case I am playing against a human player M3LL0N who is also using Bella as his summoner. So it is Bella versus Bella.

Strategy

When using Bella as your summoner it is important to place as many Ulund bloodline monsters on your team as possible as they will gain shield in addition to the Deflect ability that Bella provides to all of the monsters on your team. Additionally Bloodline Tribute that we will use is also applicable only to the monsters from the Ulund bloodline.

When I am playing Bella Ratajowlski summoner I like to play Moribund Arrowbait as my first monster. The reason for it is that I want this monster to be killed off as soon as possible in order for it's Bloodline Tribute ability to trigger. When this ability triggers when Moribund Arrowbait dies all monsters in the same bloodline gain plus one in health, speed and armor and plus one to each of the shared attack types in this case ranged and magic attack.

Another important monster that I try to play every time in this setup is Mystic Mudbinder. This monster is great because it comes with pretty good stats and abilities and is of the Ulund bloodline so his abilities get buffed even further once the Bloodline Tribute triggers. This monster comes with six shield and seven health, magic attack of three and base speed of three. Additionally it has a very impressive set of abilities: Oppress, Void Armor, Armored Strike and Heal. This monster does a lot of damage and is hard to get rid off...

In the third position I like to play Thunderous Herald. This card has three interesting abilities that make it a great card to play Enfeeble, Relentless Strike and Execute. Additionally Thunderous Herald can also take advantage of Bloodline Tribute as it also comes from the Ulund Bloodline.

In the back I like to play monsters that have tank heal and triage. One interesting monster I played in this particular battle is Caravan Guard. This new Conclave Arcana card has triage and headwinds as well as a new Echo ability that help repair and healing abilities trigger twice per round making the team even more resilient.

As you can see my opponent also chose to play Bella as a summoner and playing the same three key monsters Moribund Arrowbait, Mystic Mudbinder and Thunderous Herald. But the other monsters are slightly different. Let's see how this will play out...

In the first round we are one monster ahead, but that doesn't mean much as things can still turn around and play out completely differently.

In the second round our Caravan Guard is really starting to show his value as he triages our Great Porcupine.

In the third round Caravan Guard once again keeps our Great Porcupine in the game. This unit really adds resiliency to our team!

And at the start of the fourth round it is finally starting to look like we got this game!

And it is all over in the fourth and final round as our team takes the win and over twenty four SPS Tokens as well as over 1.5 thousand glint tokens and forty points towards the leaderboard!

And on an un-related note I just finished watching Super Bowl and what a win by the Seattle Seahawks!
