Splinterlands SPS Validator Node Rewards Part 2

This is a follow up post to my original Splinterlands SPS Validator Node Rewards Post

Now that we have a few more days of data to look at I decided to make a follow up post. This post includes the first full nine days of SPS Validator Node Rewards. I am still consistently at position number twelve behind @beaker007

Since my original post @peak-monsters have came up with an updated validators page, it is a really nice page where you can see how many validators are active in Spinterlands and how many total node licenses were sold and how many are currently receiving SPS validator license rewards, at the time of my post publication the data looks like this:
SPS Validators Producing Blocks: 442
SPS node licenses Sold: 5,008
SPS node licenses Activated: 3,282
SPS node licenses Earning Rewards: 2,905

They even added a % for total SPS votes received by an SPS Validator which was inspired by my last post according to @asgarth
You can also vote for your favorite validators on their page, etc.

You should definitely check it out!

Looking at the top fifteen SPS Validators five days later we see that top ten SPS dominance has weakened for all accounts except @cryptomancer who went up from 4.05% to 4.28% and moved up from 8th position to spot number seven. As you probably know cryptomancer is one of the main Splinterlands developers and is the force behind Land 1.75 release that is due to be released during the maintenance window tomorrow.

Out side the top ten validators I have kept the same spot at number twelve and my SPS votes dropped from 3.46% to 3.13%. @davemccoy the new Chief Operating Officer of Splinterlands has moved up from 18th spot to spot number 17 while increasing his SPS votes from 1.43% to 1.85%

@apiculture moved down to 18th position while @bravetofu went up from 17th position up to 16th position. Overall it looks like validators outside the top ten validators are gaining SPS votes resulting in more SPS vote decentralization which is a good thing as it would lead to a more even distribution of SPS Validator Node rewards encouraging more people to run SPS Validator nodes.

So now that we have the latest movements in the Validator space out of the way lets take a look at my node rewards. These are the actual numbers based on the first full nine days of SPS Validator rewards:

As you can see the number of blocks assigned to my validator is steadily dropping and with that drop you see a corresponding drop in SPS Validator rewards. The first day was 525 SPS and now it id down to 419 SPS. In my last post I have projected that my validator will be down to 350 SPS per day, that still seems to be very plausible to me.

You can also see that in nine days I have earned over four thousand SPS and successfully processed over 9,500 blocks with zero missed blocks.

Another interesting observation is that on Peak Monsters page you can now see estimated rewards for every validator node. My rewards are estimated to be 391 SPS per day which is very close to the actual rewards of 419 I have received yesterday, it might be even closer for today, but I don't have the full data yet. You can also see that the top SPS validator @aggroed is earning around 1,185 SPS per day for his validator and 4,493 SPS for the licenses held. At this time each activated license that has a node is earning 30.57 SPS per day.

If we look at the bottom range of the SPS validators we see that nodes between 121 spot and 61 spot earn less than 10 SPS in SPS Validator rewards, so most of the rewards are distributed to the top 60 validators.

Here is how my SPS Validator rewards look in the first full nine days:

I am automatically staking all of the SPS earned by my SPS Validator and building my staked SPS towards my 500k stakes SPS goal:

If you have some staked SPS please vote for my SPS Validator Node HERE

I have recently became a Hive Witness and would really appreciate your vote for me as a witness.

You can vote the following way:

  • Via PeakD: Visit PeakD Witnesses, enter “seattlea” in the Name Search, or scroll down to my current position (97 / 93) and simply click the Vote button on the right.
  • Via Hive Signer: Vote for seattlea

If you wonder what is the best way to get involved you can use my link to begin your Splinterlands and HIVE journey.

Wow, that's quite a difference compared to what I make down in the sixties or seventies.

Nice that you are able to maintain your spot.
Are you also working on a Licensce staking service?

I have considered that in the past but I already see multiple big players doing that (Peak Monsters, Monstermarket) so I don't think it is something I will be doing.
