If you think Florida is expensive, try Washington state where a shack is over a million dollars USD and anything decent even in the remote suburbs starts at $1,500,000+

Yes they are, I sold my home this year...
This makes it look like they are giving away homes in Florida...
The problem is not even the price you pay, it is the cost to carry these homes, here is the monthly breakdown of your monthly payment:

No, just regular tech workers from Google and such where both work and make $450k+ each per year...
how does that square out with the massive layoffs? How is this not a ticking time bomb?
In my mind these homes are 25 to 50% overpriced in our area, so I dumped my house as I think this is too expensive now and it might be 5 to 10 years before I can sell for the same money...
