If you enjoyed Exist 8, I can recommend you to watch Cube from 1997 if you have not seen that one yet. That along with the 2 sequals always stuck to me and it has somewhat of a cult status. In many ways it can be compared to Exit 8

Wow! That's great info! I'll look for it and let you know when I find it. Thanks! 🫂
@screenjournal I’ve already seen Cube! It’s funny how we attribute all the extraordinary things we can’t explain to extraterrestrial forces. I liked the part where they say that to get out, you have to overcome yourself. It’s all psychological. I’m still left wondering: Why were they there? Or did they get themselves in there? Thanks for the recommendation.
I'm not sure if it is ever fully explained, but I know that a couple decades ago when I watched it, I really enjoyed it an it stuck with me. There is also Cube²: Hypercube which involves time distortion and parallel dimensions and also Cube Zero which shows the side from the ones organizing the cubes.
Both sequals are mostly riding the success of the 1st and aren't as good but I remember that I still very much enjoyed them also.
That happens all the time, haha. My son told me he’d already seen it and that he’d also watched a YouTube video analyzing all the ways they could escape; no surprise there—from the outside, all problems seem easy to solve, haha.
