Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge: Keep Your Distance~
Welcome Everyone
Hello Hivers and Warriors in Splinterlands, hope you all are having a great time enjoying your battles in Splinterlands. Let's enjoy the game and fight for some amazing rewards. Having battles in Splinterlands is always a good choice to spend your time. I enjoy every battles in Splinterlands and had great time in opening Rebellion packs. Normally, I will share anything about Splinterlands on the social media, it could be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.
The topic of this post will mainly introduce the rule-set named Keep Your Distance. And let's move on and discuss how we won the battle.
The Principal RULESET: Keep Your Distance
Units with melee attacks may not be used.
Note: Use Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks or try to combine with Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
The Battle Rules
38 Mana Cost
SPREADING FURY: All Monsters have the Enrage ability.
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE: Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.
ARMORED UP: All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

The Lineup Analysis
Summoner
The CONQUEROR JACEK is a great fire Legendary summoner that we can pick in extra armor or range battles due to its unique abilities. The +2 ability is pretty awesome when we combine it with swiftness ability from our friendly monsters. The stack of the speed could make us attack first and try to kill as many as we can in first round to make sure our backline monsters are protected. Plus, it also works with the Enrage ability in rule set when we are trying to stack the speed.
Front Row
The CHAOS AGENT is a dodge master in battle when we are only 1 mana left since it has the Phase that allows it to dodge magic attacks. It is really good and do not even die in the battle when I combined the Enrage and Dodge ability that has a 25% higher chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.
Second
The MOLTEN ASH GOLEM is my front Range monster tank in the team since it has the Close Range ability that can perform ranged attacks from the first position. In this battle, Melee monsters are banned due to the rule set so I pick it as my front tank in case my CHAOS AGENT sacrificed.
Third
The SCAVO FIREBOLT is a cool ranger monster in Fire with decent stats in low mana battles since it only costs 4 mana. The 6 health and 4 range attack is definitely worth by the cost, the speed of itself is not bad and acceptable for me.
Fourth
The SUPPLY RUNNER is always a combination with my summoner CONQUEROR JACEK that already provides +2 speed in team. Getting one more extra speed by applying SUPPLY RUNNER could add up a bonus in whole team to attack first. It could be a cherry on the cake.
Fifth
The COUNTESS SINASH shares the same concept with my SUPPLY RUNNER. However, there's one more hint that I can tell you is that never put your COUNTESS SINASH before the SUPPLY RUNNER since it has less health. Sometimes the 1 health could make a whole different in the result of battle. My habit is to put the SUPPLY RUNNER first, and the the COUNTESS SINASH follows.
Sixth
The ASH MIRAGE is the last range monster in my team since it has a great debuff of my enemy. Considering the battle rules, only range and magic monster could be used in battle and the Headwinds could help me Reduces the Ranged attack of all enemy Units by 1.
Battle Result
It was a good example to proof that the high-speed scattershot strategy is good if we purposely stack them together. As a result, my reflection is that I will try to use this strategy when the rule set is favorable or I have enough mana to pick all the monsters with relevant ability to make a combination.
Win Rate Analysis
The strategy of high-speed scattershot strategy in battle was decent since my enemy only has about 20% chance of winning the battle based on 100 battles of simulation in Xbot. This website helps me improve my win rate as the time goes by since I normally check every win rate of my rank battles afterwards, which helps me build up better strategy to make more wins. Definitely suggest all of you or new comers in Splinterlands to utilize the function of this tool.
