Consistency plays a very vital role in everything we intend to achieve in life not just music alone, it is one of the key guide to success in almost everything.
To be able to show up everyday for something with same energy and desire grants access to unstoppable mind, music is no different with all other things we intend to achieve success in. Music firstly starts with passion, developing likeness for the craft and putting it into action is the beginning of achieving success in it, then applying the act of consistency is what helps boost the agility of perfection in it.
Sometimes we don't really need to be good in something naturally, music often times is a talent, but for people who along the line developed love for it and would want to also be a part of the race, to achieve it, you just have to keep showing up everyday with a heart full of desire and dedication for it, by doing so, there must be a change somehow in the results at the end of the day, and even for those who are talented in the musical aspect, when you neglect putting it into practice and working on it steadily, you end up losing some of your quality tastes.
Consistency is a total game changer, just by doing something repeatedly, changes your whole mentality towards it, it help you see your mistakes and also give you insight on how to go about it in a better way when next you approach something of such. I have seen how consistency works on people even myself, I know of people who only developed love for music because they saw others doing it, but later on work on thier selfs by doing it all the time no matter the mistakes they make and later on became very good at it.
There is no level of understanding that supersedes the the act of dedication and consistency, even when you have no knowledge about something totally but refused to stop striving no matter the mistakes and hardship, you end up finding out that some little changes begins to occur and when you keep doing it more you become unstoppable and everything begins to look every easy.
But we have to also understand that consistency is not something easy, it is a very hard side of decipline to maintain, not everyone could really cope with it and it is not something casual to carelessly flow with, you must be determined no matter the challenges, that is why you have to develop that love for it first because it keeps you going no matter how many time you fail.
