The journey of my musical growth took a huge step when I got to know about Hive, considering that I am naturally a lover of music and I love to create aswell, but along the line I have never thought of anything else aside doing it just because I like it and I find joy whenever I'm doing it.

Me and my friends back then in secondary school would sometimes go on freestyle battles or maybe show our music workings to each other from time to time, in all sense, I believe my growth in music started from the mentality I had towards it.
At some level, I Started developing interest in what music could do for me and and how I could find a life through it.

I use to picture the life of other musical artists and would always anticipate how I could be like them, even though we all got different time and plans which God has set for us, but that was my dream, I always wanted music right from start but never told anyone because i didn't know if they would really find it as a good idea, so i kept it to myself, as time geos on life began getting more tougher than I expected and my dreams began looking very impossible.

Knowing about Hive was not because of my desire for music, it was because I needed something that could support me financially, I never thought music has a huge place on Hive because when I was introduced to it I was never told about the aspect of music, so it was hard for me not until I came I was enlighten about it more.

I came into Hive to hustle, but Hive thought me how to be organised, and also how to build confidence in my craft, it has helped massively in changing and upgrading my quality in the aspect of musical contents creativity.

The love I have for music naturally is what kept me here, because at some point I almost gave up, I will sing and make original songs aswell but end up getting no votes which was very discouraging, but then I told myself, even without Hive, music is part of me and I was too timid to post my song on the general social media so why not just keep posting on Hive since it's little bit reserved and not regular like other social media platforms, that was what kept me until I was able to understand how Hive operates and now I enjoy it to the fullest.

All thanks to God for everything he has done and how he has kept me, I believe he is still going to do more and more, and also, God bless whoever idea it was to come up with a platform such as this, Hive has contributed so much in changing my life and I will always be grateful.
