Food safety beings with how food is grown to its processing down to its storage and cooking process, keeping the food clean and safe to eat and also washing food with clean water .

Some of the hygiene practices that we should practice with food before handling are : washing of hands, proper cooking of food, proper storage of perishable food in the fridge.
