I finally got the strength to post in this community. Before I was not encouraged because I saw that they always uploaded spectacular drawings, but I put the batteries to improve my technique a little more and not be left behind (although I have to keep at it).
Possibly you will see me eventually here showing my new creations that are within the theme of the community, since I love to draw in color and watercolors. I hope my drawings are well received, although I wouldn't mind reading constructive criticism to improve, any interaction would be appreciated.

Por fin tomé fuerzas para publicar en esta comunidad. Antes no me animaba porque veía que siempre subían dibujos espectaculares, pero me puse las pilas para mejorar un poco más mi técnica y no quedarme atrás (aunque tengo que seguir en ello).
Posiblemente me vean eventualmente por aquí mostrando mis nuevas creaciones que estén dentro de la temática de la comunidad, ya que adoro dibujar a color y en acuarelas. Espero que mis dibujos sean bien recibidos, aunque no me molestaría leer críticas constructivas para mejorar, cualquier interacción sería agradecida.
I'm still in the process of figuring out the mechanics of the game (I'm a newbie) but it looks like a lot of fun, for the most part.
There are many cards that I love, especially for the characters that are on them, so I wanted to make a fan art of one of them, taking advantage of the contest initiative.
The card I chose is Iza the fanged, belonging to the legendary land unit, which I don't own, but I would love to have it.

Hay muchas cartas que me encantan, sobre todo por los personajes que se encuentran en ellas, así que quise realizar un fan art de uno de ellos, aprovechando la iniciativa del concurso.
La carta que escogí es la de Iza la colmilluda, perteneciente a la unidad de tierra legendaria, la cual no poseo, pero me daría ilusión tenerla.
IZA THE FANGED
Personally I chose it because the character reminded me of Medusa, my favorite mythological being which unfolds under a tragic story of conflict between Greek gods.
However, in this card the character looks free, cheerful and modern. She has an incredible wardrobe and what really catches my attention are her beautiful and voluptuous curly hair, it was a real challenge for me to recreate something similar.
Personalmente la escogí porque el personaje me recordó a medusa, mi ser mitológico preferido el cual se desenvuelve bajo una trágica historia conflictiva entre dioses griegos.
No obstante, en esta carta el personaje se ve libre, alegre y moderno. Luce un vestuario increíble y lo que más me llama la atención son sus cabellos rulos tan voluptuosos y hermosos, de verdad que fue un reto para mí recrear algo parecido.

Then I stopped to paint the eyes (I almost always start there).

This is definitely my favorite part, detailing the shadows with purple. I feel it is a very beautiful shade to shade and the finish is cleaner and more delicate.
As you can see, I also shaded the eyes with gray, the mouth with red, the teeth with a blur between red, beige and gray, the eyebrows and I outlined the snake tattoo (although you can hardly see it in the pictures).

Once I thought I was getting everything right, I decided to start with the first few strands of her hair. I started shading curl by curl with a dark gray, trying to define each strand.

I then gave the curls more definition with a coat of black, and then gave her a final coat with black pencil.

Finally, this is how it turned out. Her hair is a little longer than normal and her other two white locks are hidden (you can only see a half platinum one).
Personally I liked it a lot and I enjoyed doing it, which is the important thing of these experiences. I would definitely dare to draw something else again.

Finalmente, así quedó. Tiene el cabello un poco más largo de lo normal y sus otros dos mechones blancos ocultos (solo se le alcanza a notar uno medio platinado).
En lo personal me gustó mucho y disfruté haciéndolo, que es lo importante de estas experiencias. Sin duda volvería a atreverme a dibujar algo más.
