The Quiet Path to Power: Buying In, Stepping Back, and Still Belonging
Power is one of those particular things that is often going to be measured in very much of those factors which are visible in terms of other factors as well and it is going to be extremely important in terms of the blocks in games that we do get ourselves involved in and the visible factors in such regard is definitely going to be the number of wins that we have made or the place at the leaderboard which we are at or even the level of cards that people and many other things as well, all of these things and many other visible factors are going to be definitely the parameter of measuring someone's power.
But when it comes to me my power is definitely going to be not even close to any of these and it also is not even going to be screaming any kind of progress as well but does that mean that I don't really have any kind of power as, well it is definitely a lot more complex then simply saying so because when I actually purchased the starter pack for Splinterlands years ago, I was very excited to be starting to play it and very much curious about the project as well. I was really looking forward to starting playing at and learning about it as it was popping up then, and also committed towards it financially and had the belief in the project as well, but all of that never really happened in the end, as I ended up not playing it much.
I did not get myself involved in learning strategies or just simply learning more about the game, about how it works and the things that it had to offer, and a lot of other things is well and the only thing that I did actually as eventually a lot of other things happened in my life I just observed Splinterlands from been a part of the audience.
It's really may seem to be a little bit absurd about someone who is actually writing an article about parts of power who has actually not really seriously played the game but surely I have been the part of high ecosystem for a very long period of time and it actually has been through many different phases that it has actually gone across and I personally feel that my path to power is actually not in terms of the gameplay strategies but in terms of the perspective that I had towards the game and ecosystem itself.
In the early years of HIVE, it was really a very happening place, and then, blockchain gaming obviously was very fresh, and there were new games that were popping up now and then, and all of them seemed very much interesting, and when a game came on the HIVE blockchain itself, I deeply felt attracted towards it.
And it was Steem Monsters back in the day and I got myself the starter pack immediately which actually made me feel like having to have the vote of confidence in the game itself and other than just getting to play the game in terms of completing the basic criteria to be eligible for that and it was also one of those things which I was not even thinking about having any kind of expectation in terms of financial returns from the game but it definitely felt to be something interesting and getting into that Idea within a decentralized ecosystem which was definitely very much amazing.
Eventually I thought that I will definitely be participating in the game as I did assume that I will be having many cards that I will be owning slowly and eventually there will be a lot of gameplay that I will be getting myself involved in but it did not actually happen in that particular way as a lot of other things happened along the way in my life and due to many factors I did not got the opportunity to keep playing at regularly and start learning about it.
You would have surely heard many people talking about their own reasons why they actually move the way from the games that were available on blockchain but for me it was actually not stepping away from the games as a whole but it was fun of those particular things that I could not relieve got myself a little bit of time that was needed for the game has it was something that always promoted to be consistent as there were a lot of daily battles that were needed to be involved in and lot of attention that was needed to be figure in out the best possible Strategies and have that kind of investment which was not actually a particular thing that I could manage at that point of time.

Even though I was not playing the game regularly but I was always within the whole ecosystem as a whole because I never really left high blockchain as a whole and looking at the new changes that Splinterlands was making and the new cards that were been launched as well as the different things that actually happened along the way were all of the things that always had my eyes upon it.
One of the things that I realised while observing the game from outside was always going to be the fact that many games actually came in that particular face and not every single one of them survived the whole scenario because many games actually made their name in the boil Run but surviving through the different scenarios across many kind of volatility was something that was not easily done by every single one of them but when it came to Splinterlands it did survive because of the strong community depth that it had and also the long term structures that were put in place which is something that is surely very impressive.
Thinking about the path of power we are always thinking about a particular strategy that we can actually implement to be excellent at the game but for me power is definitely not in that particular way but it is actually going to be in such a man that I can think of which is by not been influent by the incentive that there are available because in most of the blocks in games that we find are going to be having that particular environment which is play to earn and for me it is definitely going to be that particular regard of having the ability to use it when I want to as I definitely on the assets but I am not rushing it and always looking forward towards a long term alignment towards the project.
I really feel that there are many more people like me who have actually purchased cards and are not playing regularly and there can be many such a reasons which they have personally for themselves but it is something that is always going to be coming down at a particular phase which is going to be contributed towards they are trust towards the game as well because they have never really left the ecosystem but it is always going to be showcase Singh that they are having that faith in the game.
I always felt that I want to just again start playing the game and trying to be regular at that again but there have been a lot of time constants that I had in terms of playing it honour regular basis because I can definitely play now and then but one of the things that I realised is going to be the fact that it is always going to be more benefiting if you are involved in it for a regular frequency as we would be able to develop new strategies which can be time consuming and can definitely be very much helpful and also the rewards that are there which can be very much good for regular players as well.
One of the biggest reasons why I am actually writing this particular article is just because I wanted to be participating within the ecosystem in one or the other ways and this is something that I wanted to be always be present as well because for me Splinterlands and is definitely not just a game which I just an observing for many years now and always wanted to be regular added but it's really is a project that I feel is very interesting from a very long period of time.
