Yet Unfulfilled Side Goals

In one of my last week's posts, I talked about how 2025 has mostly been a good year for me and how I have accomplished many of the goals I set this year, some of which have had results that are better than what I expected. But in that post, I also said that there are also goals that I set my eyes on that did not go as planned due to various reasons. And with the short time remaining before the year closes, I'm not really positive that I will be able to achieve some of them because of my future plans, though I'm not completely closing the possibility of it being achieved, while there are also some goals that are completely impossible to achieve this year. One by one, I will try to talk about each of those in this post.
If I will categorize the goals that I have not been able to accomplish, I would categorize them as side goals, meaning that they were less important and are just a bonus achievement that I would be happy if I were to complete them, but would not hurt me if I didn't.
A good example of that is for me not being able to finish my last running event in less than 1 hour, or what we call "Sub-1:10k" in the running community, and what separates a newbie from a veteran runner. In my last run, I finished it within 1:01:31, so I was just 1:31 minutes shy of reaching the sub-1:10k milestone. Perhaps if I bring my own water like the others and do not stop in hydration centers, I will be able to finish my run faster, but if I do not, I won't be able to pick up the bananas to go for this epic post. Also, before the event started, the organizers made a sudden adjustment in the route and told us to pass the flyover twice, which is about 0.50km uphill in total, making my run slower and more exhausting.
Albeit not in an official run, it's still possible for me to achieve this goal by the end of the year, but for the next 2 1/2 months, my training focus will be on endurance rather than speed in preparation for a half-marathon(21km) run, so I don't know if I can go lower than 1 hour.

Potassium for the win 😆
Another thing that I tried to achieve was to bring people into Hive through Splinterlands, which I think is the easiest way to bring people into Hive. As of the moment, I have 3 people that at least tried the free-to-play version of the game, which you can see by the _lite in their IGN. If they ever decided to proceed with it, I still have some Spellbook codes, which I could give to them to activate their account, as well as to get their Hive keys. But the final decision lies with them, and if lucky, we may be able to see a new Hiver before the year ends.
In my last post, I also mentioned that I have completed all the Hive power-up days of 2025 while trying to reach my Hive power goals, and how that ended magnificently, since I have almost doubled my HP from my initial goal. However, another goal of mine is to complete all the Hive Power Up months by powering up at least 1 hive a day, but unfortunately, I missed a day of power-up during March, making it impossible for me to complete the task. Still, I try to continue with it in the months of April and May, but in June, I missed another day again. I guess I just had to try it again next year.
Another side goal that I will not accomplish, no matter what, is completing my Holozing December bonus rewards, since I already missed a day of claiming. This is another thing that I can only attempt to try again next year.
And those were my yet unfulfilled goals for this year. As I said, this goals were not my primary goals so it would not hurt if I do not accomplish them this year, but I will be happy if I can clear some of them, at least those that were still possible to clear.
Thank you for reading my post, and see you in the next one!

Happy you were able to achieve most of the important goals like you said.
And for the side goals, I see them as those that has no pressure on you, which is a good one.
I always believe that we should be happy 😃 with what life has offered us, while hoping for the best to come.
