The Conclave Arcana Situation Is Crazy

People say that Web3 gaming is dead- that Crypto and gaming cannot go hand in hand and was only doomed to fail. I'd say that it was all a bunch of baloney. Either that they play the wrong Web3 game or doesn't know which Web3 game to play at all. If a Web3 game delivers a great product that people will want, then that will translate to sales that will help to sustain the game. I'm referring on the situation about Conclave Arcana which is Splinterlands 6th major set and has managed to sell about $2.4 Million during its presale period alone which is crazy.
And as we now move on to the general sale, Conclave Arcana packs also can now be opened and used in ranked battles as they replaced Chaos Legion in Modern Format.
Conclave Arcana Presale Crazy Highlights
💥 Conclave Arcana pre-sale packs sold $2.4M+ worth of DEC/Credits with $700k+ packs sold in the last 5 hours of the pre-sale.
💥 $284K+ in card sales (30 days).
💥 Introduced Midnight potions. The first utility for land.
💥 $40K land region sold.

It's crazy right? So many stuff happens in the last 30 days prior to the released of Conclave arcana. In a post, I made a guess that Conclave Arcana will sold $2M so I was really blown away when it managed so sold another $400K+ in packs. What's even more crazy are the last minute moves that was made by some players, particularly @jeffopenscards and @hanv who managed to placed within the top 6 of the leaderboard just before the end of the sale and get the rights to help design their own Archons.
If we have something to learn from how the presale leaderboard played out is that "You shouldn't trust anyone" and "You need to watch out for the quiet ones". Anyways, congrats to all who placed in the top 250 leaderboard.
So What's In Conclave Arcana?
Crazy Game Mechanics
Conclave Arcana introduces a new game mechanic called Bloodline Dominion. In this mechanic, an Archon can summon any unit that has the same Bloodline to them, regardless of their element as long as they were available in the active ruleset. Archons also grants units that shares the same Bloodlines to them with bonus stats or additional abilities. Take note that, this not only applies on Conclave Arcana units but for all the previous cards, producing different types of crazy synergies.
To make it easier to find the Bloodline Synergies based on the Archon you selected, check on the Bloodline Synergy box found on the card filters when selecting units. For example, I have chosen to play the Archon Fifthe Bladestone which belongs to the Dwarf race and among all the cards available, there are a total of 21 cards that are Dwarfs.
And during the Battle, we can see that there were three cards that gains the Void ability which they do not originally have but was granted to them since they have the Dwarf Bloodline.
Crazy New Abilities/Debilitations
Aside from a new game mechanics there are also 11 new abilities/debilitations introduced in Conclave Arcana if we include the Bloodline Dominion. These abilities/debilitations opens up an entirely new ways to play, counter and dominate the battle and can change the way you strategize every match. This abilities were:
Crazy New Card Foils
Finally, Conclave Arcana introduces three new card foils for the first time for limited numbers of cards. These were, Gold Foil Arcane, Black Foil Arcane and Black Foil Arcane with new card frames, animations and unique mint numbers. These new card foils were not merely cosmetics, they also give +20% reward bonus in ranked battles as well as it has half the cooldown to Gold Foil cards in Survival mode and 5x base Production Points multiplier in land, same as the Beta cards.

What's more crazy is that for every Black Foil and Arcane card that were pulled in packs, a notification will be shown in the game along with the player that pulled the card. We can also get an Overview of how many Black Foils and Arcane Cards that were pulled in packs as well as the remaining cards remaining.
Opening Conclave Arcana Packs
In this video, I opened 69 out of the 100 packs that I bought during the presale. This was because I ran out of the required alchemy potions to open all my packs. I also don't have enough Glint to purchased potions in the glint shop since I have used all of it in buying major draws. Because of that, I proceed with opening only69 packs which gives me the following:
🔸13 Gold Foil Common Cards
🔸4 Gold Foil Rare Cards
🔸28 Epic Cards
🔸5 Legendary Cards
Sad to say, I did not pull any Black foil or Acane Cards but most of the cards I have were already playeable in bronze league. For the remaining packs that I still have, I will refrain on opening fo nowcause I plan to buy another 50 standard packs as well as to have enough potions. I am also giving a though on the idea of aquiring midnight potionsand using them in my packsin the hopes that my luck gets me to pull a either a gold foil legendary card or any of the black foil cards.
Right now, I am playing my Conclave Arcana and Rebellion assets on a new account @broken.hero as it will be harder for me to de- rank my account from Diamond all the way to the lower league and to test the player experience in lower leagues. Surprisingly, that account has managed to reached gold currently in the lead for the silver leaderboard. It still needs a guild though so if you have bronze modern frays that is still vacant, I may be able to fill it for you.

It has been building for almost 7 years and as the time progresses the game is just getting better and better.

Exactly, I have played some more games on and off chain, but to be honest many of them didn’t even survive long enough to take any steps - like crossing the minimum unstaking assets time frame 😅. But looking at Splinterlands running towards competing 10 years of existence as an successful web3 blockchain game, it is nothing less than a legacy. ❤️🫡
